Which education?

DataScientia offers a modular educational path that accompanies the person in the different phases of learning about AI. First, DataScientia offers a set of introductory courses aimed at discovering with a critical approach the systems based on AI and their relationship with people in daily life, with a strong focus on the fundamental components of AI, namely the data and their use. Second, it offers vertical courses for in-depth study of the fundamental components of AI, namely language, knowledge, media, and data on people and their context of reference. Finally, it aims to support intuition by providing knowledge and tools for creating human-centered applications.

Why it matters?

Every new technology brings the challenge to adapt or give up, this even if some of us think that change will not affect them. Yet AI is already in our daily lives, from search engines to social media to smartphones to the chatbots and voice assistants we have interacted with in search of support. Each of these technologies gravitates around us and flourishes thanks to our personal data and the resources we create every day.

No AI system can subsist without us, so AI should adapt to us and not vice versa. Education is the means to guide our understanding of what AI is and what it should be, providing us with the tools to perceive and conceive AI. DataScientia education aims to bring the person back to the center of change in their relationship with technology. By promoting the culture of AI, DataScientia fosters, within everyone’s reach, a critical spirit towards new technologies, an ethical approach to their development, and the practical tools to build the AI system of the future.

We see education as a service to the community. DataScientia aims to make each of its services available to everyone, adapted to everyone’s diversity, anywhere in the world. Each course is accessible from the site and comprises individual modules that can be enjoyed separately. Moreover, each module is based on easily usable and adaptable resources depending on the context’s needs.
