DataScientia collaborates with Africa through initiatives that develop sustainable, multilingual, and diversity-aware African Indigenous Language Resources and Technology Infrastructure, available as a service. We support African communities in preserving, innovating, and expanding their linguistic and cultural heritage through technology. Our community aims to empower a new generation of African researchers, innovators, and entrepreneurs to lead the research, innovation, and commercialisation of African Indigenous Language Technologies (AfrILs).
We are grateful for the opportunity to communicate to a broader audience how DataScientia bolsters partnership with Africa for human-centred AI innovation on such an impactful platform as Gitex 2025. DataScientia is committed to supporting African innovation in the long term, and we are excited to witness how our members remain dedicated to contributing to worldwide technological advancement for society.
